The reason behind the stories.
The art of storytelling is something that has accompanied me throughout my life, despite embarking on my journey in the world of computers. My childhood in Chile faded away when I was ten years old, and since then, I’ve become a citizen of the world, absorbing cultures in Argentina, Scotland, England, Ireland, France, and for over a quarter of a century, in Spain. I always envisioned stories that lived and died within the confines of my mind, until I discovered the pleasure of sharing them.
Narrating these adventures became intertwined with my job of teaching English, where I used Kamishibai to breathe life into tales. Putting them into written words has been a revelation, a way to give them wings to find their paths to you.
It was a Neil Gaiman course on Master Class, a gift from my sister Inelia, also a writer, that propelled me to publish my stories. Among these, you’ll find “Something I Regret” and “A Couple in a Car Dressed for a Wedding,” fruits of that learning, as well as “Dragon Birth Brother,” my English debut, which resonates particularly with young readers due to its reminiscent air of the “Fan Fiction” popular in the 2000s.
I invite everyone to read my stories for a price of £10 per year. Currently, all the tales from before March 2024 are available on Amazon.
