Sonia

– The Other Side –

Surprising, intriguing, captivating. Any similarity to reality?

In any case, I found it a very creative story in bringing a metaphysical backdrop into the pilgrim reality. The eternal human search. Is the answer simply there, hidden behind the veil of forgetfulness?

I liked it.

Thank you for sharing, Alejandro.

Marta

– Father Christmas –

Hello. I really enjoyed the story, but I don’t think science claims that love doesn’t exist because it can’t be proven. It’s a neurological process, and I suppose each feeling must be located in a part of the brain.
Having made that comment, I really liked the story, and I’m going to keep reading more.
Best regards.

Fermín

Inelia

– Al Otro Lado –

Awww super sweet 🙂 jeez, the airplane nightmare, man. I remember every detail as you had that one for so many years. One way to make sure you don’t forget, huh.

Eli

– And the Mountains Danced –

A beautiful tale described through the eyes of a child. Gorgeous, my congratulations for continuing to surprise. Kisses xxx!

Julio Berríos

– And the Mountains Danced –

It reminded me of my first earthquake, in 1971, in Saladillo, on the top floor, the fourth, of our building; watching with my parents and my sister from the living room window, towards the hill in front (the mountain of steeply cut stone), and how the stones fell from that hill and the largest ones reached the river.

Giovanna

– And the Mountains Danced –

I loved it!!!! I adored it!!!! … it immediately transported me to my childhood and without a doubt to that wonderful and majestic place … that witnessed the adventures experienced by all of us …
Thank you so much!!!!

– The village elder –

Facebook Message:

“I really like your stories; they are all so descriptive of the places and the moment that I can experience each one of them firsthand, as if I were in Chile, Argentina, Scotland, or England. But the one that touched me the most, the one that impressed me, was ‘the old man from the village.’ It’s a story not to forget, to spread, to help all of us in these times find a way out of this crisis of the planet and health, in Nature, in the wisdom of ancestral cultures. Beautiful!”

Fernando

– Sheila –

I liked it a lot; one would think it’s pure fantasy…

María

You made me be in your shoes and Sheila’s, I laughed, I got scared, I was surprised, I cried…

“What a wonderful story! And those wise words from your sister. Perhaps if we paid a bit more attention to the perceptions of young children, we could rediscover how to appreciate the world in a more innocent and inspiring way.”

Lisbeth

All your stories are precious because they are true, they come from the depths of your being. A pleasure to keep reading you, my friend.

Loreto

“I cried with ‘Something I Regret,’ and one of my favorites is: ‘A couple in a car dressed for a wedding.‘ The only drawback I find is that they are very short; I want to keep reading!!

Today marks 46 years since Pinochet’s coup, and among all the morbid articles I’ve read, Alejandro Ahumada’s story is the only one that feels like a sincere tribute to the victims. I hope everyone reads it.

Beautiful, a touching story. Humans and dogs have shared a very special bond for many centuries. The circumstances in Chile during that time forced you to separate. Hopefully, no child ever has to be separated from their dog again due to war.
